About Australian Dance Vision

Australian Dance Vision (ADV) is a member based non-profit Registered Training Organisation. ADV is approved by the Australian Government via VETAB, to issue qualifications for its accredited courses to students of ADV accredited teachers and ADV accredited schools in training partnership with ADV.

ADV is the creator of the Australian Dance Assessment Programme (adap), a creative, flexible and distinctly Australian dance syllabus and assessment methodology developed by professional teachers with backgrounds in most international dance teaching associations to provide a new "holistic" approach to train dancers and teachers to an international level.

The primary aim of ADV is to be the premiere dance education organisation for students and teachers in Australia. ADV is committed to developing the creative potential of teachers and students, creating employment for teachers, dancers, and assessors to ensure that all funds remain in Australia.

ADV is required to meet government legislative and regulatory specifications as well as quality administration and recording processes. Vocational training articulates with higher education and has parity with tertiary educational institutions. ADV has mutual recognition in all states and territories in Australia for Certificates I-IV in Dance Performance Studies & Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management. New members are welcome.
