ADi Certification for Teachers and Schools in training partnership
What do I need to do to become an ADi Certified school?
Certification can be applied for one year after completing Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management.
You must have the following to receive your ADi Certification certification:
- Complete Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management
- Complete Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA)
- Have current first aid training that is recognised by the Australian Resuscitation Council
- Verification of attendance of practical workshop - must be attended every years
- Evidence of 400 hours teaching
- Verification of students last assessment results - Assessments must be held every year
- Be a current financial member of Australian Dance Vision
- Code of Practice Manual
- Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Safe dance venue check
- Agree to and complete all certification documentation
